Filefax Fax to Email explained

The Filefax fax2email service is our Inbound Service. This enables you to receive your faxes to your designated email inbox. For you to do this you select and choose your own Filefax number (starting 01, 020 or 08) or as many Filefax numbers as you need and then assign these to your email account. This email account will then be used to receive your traditional paper faxes as an email.

No additional setup fees

You can subscribe to either the (Inbound) fax2email service, or (Outbound) email2fax service, or both services if required. Our email2fax service (Outbound) has NO monthly ongoing pre-paid credit charges. All you do is purchase a pre-paid package, as if you were topping up your “pay as you go” mobile phone. The Filefax fax2email (Inbound) service costs just £5.00 per month (+VAT) for your own Filefax number and has NO additional set-up fees unlike other email fax providers.

NO hidden cancellation fees

Filefax has NO 6,12 or 18 month contract period. This means you can “turn us on and switch us off” as there is only a 5 day cancellation period and has NO hidden cancellation fees unlike some other providers.

The Filefax network infrastructure explained

The Filefax network infrastructure is hosted on Docklands, London. This location was chosen as the preferred choice as it satisfied “security and due diligence” criteria on behalf of our clients.

Therefore our system is specifically designed so that in each step of the email process it is separated into tasks. This ensures that for each of the ‘tasks’ we have a constantly available and on demand number of servers that are used to undertake the volumes being processed.

This way we always ensure that if a server experiences downtime we have an instant back-up server in place to continue ongoing service delivery without service disruption. All systems are strategically linked to a 24/7 monitoring system, so that we are immediately aware of any technical issues or downtime.
