A well known Recruitment Consultancy was receiving timesheets from their candidates to a small number of fax machines within their office. However as we know in early February this year we had the biggest snow fall in nearly 30 years and their employees alike many others were unable to make their journey to the office. This meant that calls were unanswered and that timesheets received from their candidates would not be processed and so their candidates would not be paid on time. This meant many unhappy and disgruntled candidates, as they wouldn’t receive their pay. And a fax machine paper jam that made their workload even harder.
Based on the customer experience their Administration Manager asked Filefax whether the problem they had could be better handled using our fax2email solution. The answer was a simple YES, as all their faxes would be delivered to their existing fax number but then call forwarded to the allocated Filefax number and then delivered to the assigned email address. The retrieval and viewing of the fax could then be made within the office or more importantly online via the Internet. This allowed other branches of the Recruitment Consultancy to process their orders and timesheets without further delay.
