FileFax Internet Fax Service Help
How your Filefax subscription works:
Once subscribed, should you wish at anytime to cancel your Internet fax subscription, the cancellation must be made before the last 5 working days of your current billing month. This ensures you will only be liable for the remainder of that month (including any call charges incurred during that month). However, if your cancellation request is made later than 5 working days before the end of the billing month you will incur the monthly charges for the following month.
No refunds are given once a purchase is made, (other than Long Distance Selling regulations that apply) regardless of how long they are purchased for. For example, if you cancel a specific service such as your email2fax (Outbound) subscription any pre-paid credit remaining will not be transferred from one service to another service.
Your cancellation rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 are as follows:

Once you have subscribed to Filefax and wish to receive or send a fax, please use the following instructions shown below:
The Filefax number you choose upon registration is your own fax number. Therefore whenever a fax is sent to this Filefax number it will be delivered to the assigned email address inbox as a PDF.
How to receive a fax using my fax2email (Inbound) service in 3 easy steps?
- Subscribe to a Filefax fax number. This is an 01, 02 or 087 fax number and this will then be your very own fax number.
- Any fax sent to this number is then automatically forwarded to your designated e-mail inbox. As your faxes are then received via the Filefax service your fax number is never busy and so a fax or call never lost. The received fax is then delivered to your designated e-mail inbox as a PDF or TIFF.
- Retrieve and view your faxes from anywhere in the world using the internet. Access your received faxes anywhere you can access your e-mail or web browser. You can then File, forward, print, or delete your faxes alike your e-mail messages.
Faxes are sent via Filefax by using any email account that is added as a Permissioned Sender. In other words, only email accounts added to your account can send your email faxes. Once an email address is added you can send a fax by either inserting text within the email body message or by attaching supported file types such as Word Docs or PDFs and then send your email to: faxnumber@fax.filefax.co.uk. It is then once we have received your email/file that we deliver it as a paper fax.
How to send your fax (Outbound) via email in 4 easy steps?
- Create an e-mail message using your e-mail programme such as Outlook, Eudora or even web-based email such as Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail.
- Enter the fax number you are sending to within the "To:" field including the Country code such as: 08444432754@fax.filefax.co.uk, always ensuring the number starts with "00" or "+" and has no spaces.
- Enter your fax message and/or add your file attachments. You can enter your fax message as text within the email body and/or attach any files such as a Word .doc or .PDF.
- Then click “Send” just as you would sending an e-mail, and the email will be delivered as a paper fax. Your sent faxes look just like any other email within your Sent folder. Once sent you will receive a confirmation e-mail message that your fax has been received for processing and also to confirm the success or failure of the fax transaction.
