When dealing with Sales calls, the usual feedback I receive, and believe me I have heard it often enough, is that the vast majority of customers are still questioning and asking why faxing is still being used today on a global scale.
Which of course I can understand given all the ongoing technology advancements we make. However there is NO getting away from it, my answer is still the same as it was 10years ago. As when you need to send a large document, whether it be a Sales Order form or Legal Agreement that has been signed off and a signature is required at the other end, it is much easier and quicker to do this via fax than using a courier or post - it’s also cheaper as well let’s not forget. In fact the reality is, whatever document size, it is always much easier to send the document via fax. However, if for example the document is saved on your computer you could simply convert it to PDF and then email fax it to the destination fax number. So with just a few clicks of the mouse is all it takes to send your important document to whereever it’s going. To confirm this, imagine you had to send 20 pages of legal documents to your Solicitor ref a House Sale. Converting this to PDF would be easier after you’ve signed it, and then hitting “Send” is easier, faster and less hassle than standing beside a fax machine for 15 minutes to make sure it all goes through with no paper jams. And there is still NO definitive method available (correct me if I am wrong) to guarantee that the 20page fax was received properly (in other words all 20 pages) at the destination fax machine with no pages missing or page text slanted. This would still have to be checked manually wouldn’t it ?
So remember as I keep having to… No fax machine means NO paper, NO toner, NO service repairs and NO additional fax lines expenditure/costs.
Using Internet fax guarantees your Privacy, as all faxes are delivered direct to your designated email inbox – so NO lost faxes. Or any unwanted, prying eyes get to see your faxes.
Faxing still has a big priority towards emailing in the business world; it is legalised in most developed countries as an official document.
Internet faxing offer complete mobile faxing – your faxes can be accessed and retrieved “anywhere in the world”. So Faxing then becomes as easy as clicking and sending an email. All you need to do is register and create your account. So you can then access your faxes on the move, whilst out on the road, as some of our customers already do.
With web-based faxing you can receive faxes at any location you can connect to the Internet, so no problem to view them when you are out of the office or on the road. You can also store your received faxes in an electronic folder for future retrieval. So they are always available to you with a few clicks, so NO paper hardcopies are needed. So NO filing cabinets needed either. The decision is entirely yours, but what sounds easiest to you.
