System Requirements

The only System Requirements that you need is an email account (including free email accounts such as Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail) and software (such as those listed below) that are capable of viewing your Inbound faxes.

The Filefax Internet fax service enables you to receive your faxes as Tiff's or PDF's - tiff's can be viewed using the 'Windows Picture and Fax Viewer' standard with Windows or 'Preview' when using the Apple Mac. PDF's can be viewed using 'Adobe Acrobat Reader' which is a free download shown below under Option 3. Or CutePDF is another solution our customers use also listed under Option 3 below.

Please note: Email users who are using a free email service such as Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail we recommend that you add the domain: fax.filefax.co.uk as a valid contact or within the approved sender list within their address book. This will ensure that our emails are not delivered to your spam folder instead of your inbox. This is a rare occurrence, however can sometimes happen.
